About Simone
I love to teach and to get my students excited about learning. I have over 5 years of experience as a teacher and over 10 + years in my professional career in education. I have taught before in India and have spent time abroad in Peru working at a non-profit. I enjoy traveling and learning about various cultures and getting to know people. I am very flexible, and try my best to teach the curriculum content using various strategies, as well as incorporating real-life scenarios and topics of interest to my students. As I plan my curriculum, I focus on how my students best learn and tailor my lessons to accommodate their learning styles. I am certified in general education for K-6 grades and currently, I am enrolled in a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language.
