About Shawn
I truly love sharing my knowledge with others and I have 17 years of experience teaching 5th grade in an elementary school. I have a BFA in Film/TV from NYU and worked as a camera assistant for three years on independent films before becoming a teacher. I love film and all the arts, including photopraghy, music, fine arts, comedy, literature, and dance. I have a serious case of wanderlust and am always looking to scratch my travel itch. I have been to over 40 countries in the world, and I have enjoyed all of my unique travel experiences as I find it fascinating to learn about different cultures, traditions, food, people, places, and animals around the world. I would love to share my experience and knowledge of the arts and the world with you, while I help you understand the subject you are studying.
