About Shante
I am a 15 year early childhood teacher with the New York City Department of Education. I currently teach pre-kindergarten but also have experience with kindergarten and first grade. I love children, and I love teaching and helping them succeed. I also have a six year old daughter and she is in the first grade, however I love helping her in her learning as well. I am passionate about helping the youngest learners, as I feel they are often overlooked and seen as babies, when they are extremely capable of accomplishing multiple tasks independently or with support.
