About Phillip
Hello!
My name is Phillip Leyva, and I'm an alumnus of UC Berkeley. I've been teaching high school English classes in the East Bay since 2013. I earned an M.A. in Teaching from Saint Mary's College of California in 2016.
In the last couple of years, I've spent a lot of time studying and performing theatre throughout the Bay Area. I have experience with Shakespeare, musical theatre, and contemporary plays.
As an OEF VIII Army veteran, I also enjoy working with other vets. I have experience navigating the GI Bill and discovering military veteran resources.
