About Perri
More than just a teacher, I am a world traveler and lifetime learner. It is my passion for exploring and sharing my discoveries that makes learning easier than ever. I am lucky to have had a well-rounded education, as a degree in Social Studies Education requires a wide variety of classes from Civics to Psychology and many more. After I earned my B.A. in History and Sociology, and my Master's in Education, I taught high school English and Social Studies. However, I desperately missed traveling and living abroad, so after 3 years I applied for an online teaching job and began working remotely from around the world. Since then I have gained experience teaching students from many different backgrounds, and have expanded my knowledge of many topics including culture, religion, politics and more. My extensive experience teaching online has helped me develop many techniques to help students grasp new material in a short time and fall in love with learning.
