Teaching is my Profession, Passion, and Privilege. I earned a B.A. in Spanish/Anthropology and an M.A. in Spanish Linguistics at Michigan State University, and completed all coursework and qualifying exams for a Ph.D. in Linguistics at the University of Florida. My specialization areas are First & Second Language Acquisition, Pronunciation, and Teaching Methods.
I have taught English to second language learners from all over the world at all different levels and different ages, from primary through university levels. I especially enjoyed training teachers in the U.S., Myanmar, India, Japan, and China. I have created materials and written textbooks for several special programs in different countries.
The depth and length of my education and experience provide me with a good general understanding of the needs of those learning English. I am sure I can help YOU!
