About Michael
My background is in mechanical engineering. I worked mostly in the aircraft engine industry. I decided to give teaching a try by joining the Peace Corps. This is where I began my teaching career. I have since taught in public schools in the Indianapolis area. I did this for 15 years. Recently, I completed 5 years of teaching internationally in Amman, Jordan.

I have taught physics exclusively for about 20 years. I have taught the algebra based AP Physics course that was known as AP Physics B and has now been replaced by two one year courses. Those being AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2. I have also taught non AP physics courses including a conceptual physics course that is offered to our freshmen at my last school.
