I have been tutoring most of my life; first my six younger brothers and sisters, and then their friends and my classmates. It was no surprise that I would become a teacher and continue tutoring my own students. Many have told me I am very good at tutoring and they wished other teachers explained things like I do. I have been told I am very patient and explain things clearly. I have taught math at the high school level for eleven years. As a Dropout Prevention Director, I continued to tutor the students who were at risk of dropping out of school and those I convinced to come back to school. I enjoy being able to turn the light bulb on for those who have been struggling before! I have 27 year old son and a 20 year old daughter who I have and continue to help in their college math classes. I also have an Australian Shephard dog named Blue, and a black cat named Bella. I like being outdoors, working puzzles, and cooking.
