I have formal experience tutoring a range of people from middle school students in Taiwan to local high school students to college students. I believe that tutoring is for everyone, not just people who are struggling in their subject. I am compassionate and have struggled with classes more than enough to by sympathetic to how hard it can be to ask for help. I am passionate about science, specifically genetics, but some of my favorite classes were English and History so I know the importance of being balanced in one's subjects.

Specialities
My teaching specialties are in biology and chemistry for all levels. I am specifically trained to help with the technical writing needed for lab reports and journal articles but I also have experience with tutoring the content itself. Additionally, I have received extensive training on teaching writing for essays and discussion assignments so I am confident in being able to help with any step of the writing process from brainstorming to editing.
