About Leyla
Hi everyone! I'm glad you are here. I've lived in Perú, Chile and the U.S., where I was able to expand my knowledge on how to best teach my students, always taking under consideration their background knowledge, culture, first language, and interests. I am a recent graduate from Drake University, IA, but started studying elementary education in Chile. Studying in 2 very different countries made me be able to take the best teaching practices from both experiences and create my own teaching method. I take a lot of pride on the way I am able to connect with students in order to make my classes enjoyable and interesting. I want to make you want to learn and have fun doing so.
