About LaRhonda
I have experience as a 3rd and 4th grade classroom teacher. In my second and third years as a teacher, I was appointed 'Grade Level Chair' by my school's leadership team. After my third year of teaching, I was awarded 'Teacher of the Year'. My students were always the highest performing on all state and county mandated standardized testing. I'm proud of these accomplishments, as it often takes educators many years of experience to reach these types of achievements. I believe my passion for eduation and children were pivotal in these successes. I also have extensive experience as both a professional and private tutor for grade levels 1 and up. Additionally, I've worked in a leadership role for the youth department of my church organization for 18+ years as a mentor and a tutor.
