I performed in my first circus at 18 months old. That has essentially set the stage for my life, personally and professionally. My passion in life is to help others find joy and build confidence.
Professionally I am an Intervention Specialist (Special Education teacher) as well as a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. My experience ranges from working with young children just beginning to navigate the complexities of our social climate to great-grandmothers who are finally ready to discuss traumas from their past.
Whether I am on the stage, in a classroom, or sitting at a patient’s bedside, my goal is to help those that I am serving to recognize their full potential and the innate strengths that they have always had. Because of course, the show must go on.

Specialities
As a special education teacher, I specialize in finding creative ways to make difficult concepts to make sense to my students. Most of my students have been told, at some point in time, that how they learn is wrong. I humbly reject the notion that any student can learn "wrongly" and fully recognize that some of my students simply learn "differently". It is my job and pleasure to make connections with students, learn how their minds work, and implement strategies that will deliver an optimum learning experience for them.
