About Kal
Hello Everyone,
My name is Kal, and I am from Canada. I hold a degree in economics and certifications in teaching (TESOL), first aid, and financial studies. I started my career in banking but later discovered my passion for teaching, which has become my life’s focus.
In 2014, I began teaching internationally, starting in Kuwait, where I taught English, preparing students for the TOEFL exam, and math.
In 2019, I moved to China and worked at Song Shin Ling International Kindergarten, where I was teaching English to young children. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I returned to Canada. I taught English and math at primary school. I also taught at CDI and Avalon Colleges for over three years; I taught financial accounting.
In spring 2023, I returned to Guangzhou, China, to teach English at a kindergarten.
