I love science and love sharing my love of science through teaching! I pride myself in being able to explain difficult concepts in a way that is easy to understand and apply to everyday life. I have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and I bring the knowledge and experience gained during my research to help make my teaching even more engaging and interesting. Real-world applications/hands-on experiences/or simulations are my favorite tools when teaching. In these COVID times, I have turned to use more technology to help keep my teaching engaging. I currently teach High School Physics and Chemistry, but would like to help others after school too! I love to help! One of my students recently said this to me: "Science is literally my worst subject ever but this year, it felt different because of how you were always there for me when I needed help and you make it obvious that you care about your students. You changed how I felt about science."

Specialities
Because of my previous engineering experience, I love applying real world experiences with my Chemistry and Physics classes! I especially love labs and hands-on projects. Although this is difficult during COVID, I try my best to make up for it by using online simulations, labs, videos, and demonstrations.
