About Jennifer

I believe that teachers are "explainers of things" and are there to make the incomprehensible easy to understand. I do this in 3 ways: 
1-I try my best to make materials easier to understand, whether that means explaining it in another way, using an analogy, even trying to understand what it is my student  does and doesn't understand already,
2- I like looking at trends that indicate when something is confusing for a lot of students, so that I can be prepared to explain commonly confusing iideas as clearly as possible.
3 - I do my best to meet the student where they are at. That means understnading what they need to learn for and what their current situation is. My students determine the curriculum!
