About James
James Kleinhans is a South African qualified teacher. He has a BA honours degree, a higher diploma in Education, a Master’s degree in languages, a Diploma in accounting and auditing (business). He has taught Maths, Business studies, History and Languages in various schools over the past 20 years. He has international experience teaching in South Africa, United Kingdom and recently teaching in Abu Dhabi.
James describes his teaching style in the following way: “I am a warm and caring teacher – very student centred. I encourage students to take an active role and participate in the lessons. I respect students as individuals and through creating engaging lessons aim to facilitate learning in a way to translate into understanding and knowledge. I believe that practical learning leads to the most progress being made and allows children to demonstrate their learning.”
