Currently I am Mathematics HOD. Previously, I had taught mathematics to both junior and senior high school international students (British curriculum: IGCSE up to A level, American diploma: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, Calculus, SAT preparation) and certified of teaching IB Diploma Program SL,HL, Further Mathematics developing and practicing cultural competence in teaching, research, and other work since 2008 combined with 8 years of working as a speech therapist overseas from 2000- 2008. I have international school experience, a positive can-do attitude, demonstrated success in teaching high school ESL students. This experience has inculcated a strong desire to facilitate students in learning strong mathematical concepts – that would help them in subsequent stages of their careers.
