About Heidi
Hello! My name is Heidi Martinez and I am currently teaching 4th grade elementary at a public charter school. Teaching at an IB/PYP school has taught me so many wonderful ways to connect with my students and extend teaching particular ideas and concepts on a global level. Further, I am also able to use engaging communication to motivate students and to help drive their inquiry. I also have a Master's degree in Education and am a single- subject American History major. This background allows me to develop personalized lesson plans and provide one-on-one support for students of all ages and learning styles. I am available to assist in anything from fractions, long division, grammar and even the American Revolution! My #1 goal is to support all of my students' learning goals, and to celebrate their wins and accomplishments along the way!
