Hello! My name is Ms. Jimenez!
I am currently completing my 5th year as a licensed ELA teacher in the state of Massachusetts, as well as my 7th consecutive year within my district. Here in Massachusetts, we pride ourselves on being one of the highest ranking states for Education from year to year. And quite frankly, I love being a part of that level of success. I am grateful every day that I get to use my gifts in creative ways. In my classroom, I make it a priority to teach the idea that IT IS OKAY TO STRUGGLE. I think of myself as a facilitator of Your Learning, a Guide to YOUR goals, but not a mere deliverer of knowledge. Of course, part of my job is to help students get closer to mastery; however, finding solutions to sometimes complex problems and making progress with real action steps, is my sweet cup of tea. Molding my content in a way that everyone can consume and evolve with, is what I live for.

I am a teacher that has a very student-centered approach in the classroom. I think that much of what can be accomplished in any lesson is dependent on how the student learns and not simply what has been effective in the past. I specialize in blending unconventional learning methods with your classic common core / standards-based grading. With me, you cannot fail.
