What most students say about Maths at the school I am working at is that they hate the subject. However, to me, Maths is beauty, and magnificent and sets people up for discovery. The feeling of having overcome a problem and learn a new technique that can be applied to so many situations in life can be quite fulfilling and rewarding.
I have been teaching Maths for more than 10 years now and I have seen students struggling with Maths terribly. My challenge is, then, enormous. Yet, I am not afraid to look for different alternatives and ways to make people look at the subject from different points of view. I strongly believe anyone can become a Maths lover.
About myself, I am a qualified secondary school teacher, and I am currently working at Swan Hill College in Victoria, Australia. I am currently teaching Maths and Science to students in years 7,8 9, and 10. Having fun is definitely my way to go around Maths.
