My degree was in Natural Sciences at Cambridge (including two years of Physics and one of Chemistry), where I subsequently conducted Materials Science tutorials for three years. In 2018 I taught the maths and physics component of a language school’s international foundation programme for engineers, of around GCSE / A-level level. I now tutor secondary school pupils of a range of ages in science and maths, both online (over Skype and the like) and in person. I enjoy introducing my pupils to real-world examples of the topics we study, and encourage them to find such examples. In my tutorials, I produced my own worked solutions to the homework, so I would be able to explain clearly the steps involved.
