About DEEPA
I am Deepa, a native English speaker and I have passion for teaching and for trying to have an individual approach to each learner, with a goal of achieving the best possible progress with everyone. I have more than 13 years of experience working with diverse learners of all levels both in classroom and online. I am a qualified English teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Literature and Linguistics, Masters in English Linguistics, PGCE, PGDip, MBA General, 120 hours of TEFL Certificate, Early Childhood and Certificate in Project Management. I am presently completing my PhD in Education. Whether I lecture or coach really depends on the learners and their learning abilities, as well as the topics we cover. I am also skilled in employing a differentiated approach to provide a student-centered learning environment that encourages resourcefulness and critical thinking while promoting tolerance, respect and emotional security for a diverse student group.
