English is my bread and butter! I love the language because I see it as a perfect combination of logic and art; grammar has a deliberate, logical center that allows us to write beautiful, artistic expressions of self. Because of that concept, I write (mostly poetry) and workshop among colleagues as a way of perfecting our craft. Furthermore, as someone who is a recent college graduate, I am familiar with the current collegiate climate and expectations of colleges in the realm of English. This helps me better prepare high school students with a college-oriented mindset to approach that daunting coursework with more confidence in their skills.
