I'm an experienced math teacher of 5 years and I love helping others to discover the excitement and beauty of math! I believe that everyone has the ability to do math, and I work to tailor my lessons to each student's unique way of thinking. Most of my teaching experience has been with students who do not naturally gravitate towards mathematical thinking. I enjoy finding ways to translate math concepts into various forms so that students can understand them more easily. My goal is to give my students confidence and tools to be able to master math on their own. I have a background in both math and teaching, with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and masters degree in education. I've worked in education, data analysis, and teaching, but I most enjoy working one-on-one with students through tutoring. I work to help students realize how much they already know and give them confidence for mastering new math skills.
