Hi! I'm a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Music (Classical Voice) and Diploma of Languages (German) a the University of Melbourne offering tutoring in Music, English, French, and German. As a Classical (Opera) Singer in training, Music and Language are the two most important aspects of my work, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help others engage with them through teaching.
Both music and language can on a surface level seem like overwhelmingly complex and mysterious phenomena. My job as a tutor in both areas is to show students how to break them down to their building blocks and basic structures, not just so that they can perform well in exams, although that is of course crucial to my work, but also to give them a thorough knowledge of both that they can apply to further study, work and even simply everyday understanding of these integral parts of our society.
