About Alexandria
I am a positive and energetic teacher originally from sunny Australia but now living and travelling in Europe!
I have a passion for teaching and I try to make every lesson as engaging and fun as possible. I want my students to feel comfortable asking me any questions and enjoy being in my classroom.
I have experience teaching various subjects and age groups in both Australia and London. My favourite subject to teach is Art, but I also love English, Drama, and Photography.
I love to paint, take photos, and travel in my free time. I enjoy learning new skills and trying new things to broaden my experience and knowledge of the world.
I am always looking for new ways to improve my teaching practice and challenge myself by moving out of my comfort zone. I hope to make a difference in my student's lives and help them achieve their goals.

Specialities
My specialties within Visual Art are hand-built pottery and watercolour/ gouache painting. I also really enjoy printmaking.
In Drama, I am particularly skilled in writing theatre reviews, analysing the theatrical elements of a performance. These skills also extend to Media Studies and analysing films.
In English, I have a deep love for poetry - both the analysis and creating it. I love analysing poetry and the techniques embedded within the words of great sonnets and even song lyrics.
I have bonus skills and interests in Music and can play a range of instruments and read sheet music. I feel as though my love of English, Art, Drama, and Music all work together creatively and I love helping my students find these connections if share similar interests and skillsets.
