Math has been my life ever since I found in high school that I could make a living teaching it. From the time I graduated high school, I've been tutoring or teaching mathematics at some level until COVID hit in 2020. I have tutored just about every level of math from Kindergarten to low level college mathematics. These days, even though I'm no longer in a classroom, I'm still teaching math, to my toddler who at 4 (and without any formal schooling) can count and add simple equations. When I have time, I go through the worksheets I used to give my students and work on those problem as a way to keep my mind active. As a high school teacher for 6 years, I have learned of ways to shortcut some complex math ideas and simple ways to explain concepts that may be hard to understand. I pride myself in not only showing someone how to solve something but also explain the why behind the problem and it's answer.
