People use Google Drive applications for everything. We use them all day everyday at Skooli (I’m typing this in a Google Doc). We also noticed that a lot of students and tutors rely on Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides as well, so we found a way to provide easy access to Google Drive right in the Skooli Online Classroom.
This is one of the best developments to happen to Skooli’s online tutoring classroom. If you use Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides, then this new upgrade to the classroom was made for you.
Now, Skooli online tutors and students can work together, within the classroom, on Google Drive files.
Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides integrate seamlessly with the Skooli Online Classroom. In just a few clicks – or taps on your mobile device – you can be cooperating on a Google file without glancing away from your live tutoring session. With so many students migrating to Google cloud-based storage for their homework, notes, assignments, and essays, we felt that adding Google Drive to Skooli was just the right thing to do.
The new feature is incredibly easy to use. To start using a Google Drive app during a Skooli tutoring session, simply click the “+” button on the bottom left corner of the whiteboard. This will give you the option to add a new board – either a Google Doc, Google Sheet, or Google Slide. Next, either create a new file or choose an existing file from your Drive. Then get to collaborating.
